| Nov – Dec. 15 | Christmas Decorating & Spirit Contest Light up our town by decorating your home or business and win prizes! Three awards will be given at the end of the event: 1. Business who best exhibits/portrays the best Christmas spirit. 2. Business who has the best Christmas decorations inside and out. 3. Home that has the best outdoor Christmas decorations. Judging will take place on December 15th and winners will be announced on the weekend of the 20th. If participants want to be judged, they’ll need to contact the Christmas in Berthoud Planning Team. |
| Nov 2 – Dec 15 | Drop off canned food and non-perishable items, toys, coats, and boots to MainStreet Car Care and Quick Lube. Larry will have 3 separate tubs for your donated items and will work with House of Neighborly Services on delivery of items to Berthoud area residents in need. |
| Nov 2 – Dec 15 | Berthoud Library “Hat, Mitten & Scarf Tree”. Donate your new or gently used hats, mittens, and scarves to our festive Christmas tree in the lobby. Knitting classes will be held soon. Contact the Library for more information. |
| Nov 9 – Dec 12 | Berthoud Library “Food for Fines”. Each food item donated will equal $1.00 in over-due fines. Please donate non-perishable items that will add to a family’s festive holiday table. |
| Nov 28th 10:00am – 1:00pm | Homemade Colorado fresh evergreen wreaths for sale for $15 – Berthoud Foursquare Church, 500 4th Street. Free hot chocolate to all that stop by. Also selling wreaths December 5th and 12th. 5% of proceeds will go to CIB Fund. |
| Thanksgiving thru Dec 12 | Buy a Toy for a Child in Need – Grandpa’s Café, 239 Welch Avenue. Pick up a child’s toy wish at Grandpa’s Café from of their Toy Tree and then go shop for the present. Drop it back off at Grandpa’s Café by Tuesday, December 15th at 4:00pm and Santa’s elves will wrap the gift for you. The toy will be delivered with the financial delivery to the family. |

| 4:00-9:00pm | Christmas in Berthoud 2009 Tree & Wreath Tour – Tour businesses throughout Berthoud to bid on beautifully designed Christmas trees and wreaths. Silent auction will for these items will end Saturday, December 5th at 7:30pm. Tour guide available at Grace Place where tour begins. |
| 4:00-9:00pm | Book signing by local award winning author – Grace Place Bookstore, 250 Mountain Avenue – ABSAROKA (Where the Anguish of a Soldier Meets the Land of the Crow) by Joan Bochmann. The book has won the Independent Publishers Association’s “IPPY Award”, as well as an Honorable Mention in the Hollywood Book Fest. Contest of 2007. The author has enjoyed many favorable reviews as well as praise from readers. Portion of proceeds will benefit CIB Fund. Additional times offered Saturday, December 5th from 9:30am-2:00pm. |

| 3:00-8:00pm | “Canstruction” Student Sculpture Display at Five Stones. Stop by and judge your favorite sculpture. Donated cans of food are used to create 3D sculptures and once judging is over, food is donated to local food banks. |
| 3:30pm – 4:15pm | “Pony” Rides with Sun Pony Ranch – Railroad Park. Cost will be a donation to CIB Fund, or free if unable to donate. 100% of proceeds will go to CIB Fund. Ponies will also be decorated and in the Parade of Lights. |

Winners can pick up trees and wreaths that were bid on at Grace Place during this time or make arrangements with the Grace Place office to pick up later. | Dec 19th | Christmas in Berthoud Gift Delivery. Jennifer Miller and Kim Land of Grace Place are coordinating delivery of food, toys, and gift cards to Berthoud families in need. |
| Dec 24th 6:00pm | Berthoud Foursquare Church presents “Christmas in Egypt – a Children’s Musical”. Following the play and service by the Pastor we would like you to join us for a FREE Christmas Eve Dinner. We Hope to See You There!! |
