Christmas in Berthoud is a community-wide effort to bring holiday joy to those in need in our community by donating our time, talents and finances. Our main events take place on November 30th through December 2nd. Explore this site to learn about CIB, see our activities this year and learn how to get involved. Many thanks to Christine Suppes for designing this whimsical Christmas in Berthoud scene inspired by her own family's business. As the winner of our contest, Christine's artwork has been made into Christmas cards and the proceeds will be used by Christmas in Berthoud to support families in need. The Christmas Candy Cards are on sale for $2 per card at Habitat for Humanity, Hays, Grandpas, L&M, Da Bean, Lighthouse Cafe, Berthoud Drug Store and the Berthoud Library.
Look closely at the picture and you will notice ribbon hard candies, circular suckers, chocolates, peppermints and gingerbread cutouts. Her family is the proud owner of Sunny Jim's Candy Shop at 5431 W. US Hwy. 34 on the West side of Loveland. They have been making homemade candies for decades. Stop in and have a tasty treat!
