VENDORS
Christmas in Berthoud 2012 is pleased to announce the 5th Annual CIB Craft Show. The craft fair will be held at Grace Place Church, 250 Mountain Avenue in Berthoud. It will take place on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturday, December 1, 2012 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The vendor/crafter space fee will be $50.00 for both days along with one donated item. All monies collected going directly to the CIB 2012 Fund. The donated item should be ready by the time the show opens and will be picked up by a CIB volunteer.
VENDOR SPOTS ARE FILLED FOR 2012. Please check to see if there has been any cancellations.
We cordially invite crafters who are interested in selling their handmade items to apply. We are able to showcase 35 vendors this year, which includes 25 spaces on the main level of the building and 10 spaces on the 2nd floor. Returning vendors will be given priority, however, new vendors are welcome to apply and will be given consideration based on space availability and type of craft offered. Please note that space assignments will be determined on a first come, first serve basis as completed applications and booth fees are received. Please check out the list of concurring activities in Grace Place church on this website that will bring more people by your table.
Booth size is approximately 8 feet across by 4 feet deep. Please stay within these dimensions. Tables must have floor length table skirts or festive holiday coverings. You will need to provide your own tables and table coverings. Chairs will be provided. There are no electrical outlets available this year. We apologize for any inconvenience. Booth set-up begins Friday, November 30th at 2:30 PM and should be completed by 3:45 PM. All vendor/crafters must remain both days for the entire length of the craft Show and no early breakdown of displays will be allowed. Vendors are responsible for the collection of their own sales taxes.
Refunds for cancellation will be given up to November 1, 2012 to allow people on the waiting list to enter the Craft Show. Refunds will NOT be given after this date. Space is assigned as the applications are received and accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
The Craft Show will be advertised in the Berthoud, Loveland, and Longmont newspapers as well as with posters and flyers and on Facebook. We encourage each vendor to invite family, friends, and neighbors to attend.
Each vendor has the opportunity to contribute one item from your booth which will be sold for the CIB 2012 Fund.
Completed and signed applications are due no later than Monday, October 15, 2012. No space can be guaranteed until a completed application and space fee is received. Click on the Forms tab and select Craft Vendor Application.

BUSINESSES and ORGANIZATIONS
We welcome your creative ideas to improve Christmas in Berthoud! Each organization or business should design their own part, but please inform the Christmas in Berthoud team so we can include your event in our list of publicized events.
In order for Christmas in Berthoud to be a success, we need ALL of the community to get involved. Ask your group/organization for ideas on how you can contribute. The goal of all of the events throughout November and December is to raise money to go to the Christmas in Berthoud 2012 Fund.
Businesses should consider being open Friday, November 30th from
4:00 PM-9:00 PM and Saturday, December 1st. from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM
as well as running holiday promotions to attract customers during the weekend event and the days prior to Christmas.
If you would like your event publicized and listed on the Christmas in Berthoud 2012 Events Calendar, please email LuAnn Hoxeng at luhoxeng@yahoo.com.
Here are some great ideas for your organization:
Restaurants could offer breakfast/lunch/dinner to the attendees, and donate a portion of your proceeds back to the CIB Fund. Let us know what menu items you'd like to highlight. We could have several restaurants offering different types of food selections.
Any club/organization can put together a friendly competition or a dinner such as a Chili Cook Off or Spaghetti Dinner.
Business could bring in Mrs. Claus to serve hot cider while customers are shopping. Percentage of business sales over the weekend could be donated or could offer promotions on specific merchandise.
Churches could host classes, cookie exchanges, luncheons, fashion shows, concerts, etc. with a goal of donating a part of the proceeds back to the CIB Fund.
Canned Food Drive– Canned food items for local food banks could also drop off basket-making supplies to create food baskets for families for their Christmas dinner (no perishable items).
Coat and Winter Boot Collection– Collect new or lightly used items are donated. House of Neighborly Services needs men’s work boots.
House of Neighborly Services – Has listing of specific needs during the holidays. Business could work in conjunction with them in developing new idea/theme for their donation.
Bake Sale – Local church or business could host this event with proceeds going to the CIB Fund.
