House of Neighborly Services Shelves are Empty!!!
Did you know that Berthoud has a House of Neighborly Services and is open every Tuesday?
Did you also know that the amount of residents registering for services has increase 180% over last year? There is a definite need for helping out our friends and family right here in our own neighborhood. The food shelves at the Berthoud bank are EMPTY! Just this week alone, Linda Hirsch, Program Director, filled close to 25 baskets of food and on a normal day in the past, she was filling 4-5.
Please drop off your food to the Berthoud office on Tuesday and if you can’t make it, call Linda and schedule a time for a pick up from her great volunteers. You can also drop off like-new items such as coats, hats, boots, scarves, etc. at the Loveland location as they do not have a place to store clothing items in Berthoud. You can also visit http://www.facebook.com/l/e1914;www.christmasinberthoud.org to see other drop off locations throughout town.
