Christmas in Berthoud 2011
Christmas in Berthoud 2011 (CIB 2011) is a community-wide effort to bring holiday joy to those in need. Festivities begin with a chili dinner fund raiser on Saturday, Nov. 12. The dinner will include a bake sale and silent auction. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used helping Berthoud children and families in need. Our Berthoud community needs your support! Many of the people in our town have been faced joblessness or a reduced income due to the recent economic crisis in our country. Many are on the verge of losing their homes, businesses, or even the hope to face another day. This year, the need is greater than ever before and we need everyone’s help. Volunteers have teamed up with the Berthoud Chamber of Commerce and to plan and organize the community-wide “Christmas in Berthoud” event. We hope that every child, resident, business owner, and organization will have an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child or family near us.

The mission of Christmas in Berthoud is to raise funds to provide holiday joy to individuals and families in need in our community. We collect donations and organize fundraiser so that we can purchase toys, gift cards, grocery cards and more for those people who need them the most in Berthoud.
Recipients of Christmas in Berthoud gifts are referred by schools, churches, police or fire department, or sometimes by their neighbors. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in Berthoud has the opportunity to celebrate a joyful holiday season.
How can you get involved?
Volunteers are needed to help organize Christmas in Berthoud fundraising events, coordinate donation efforts, and deliver gifts to the families in need. These are our events this year:
- The Christmas Parade (sponsored by the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce)
- Babysitting Night
- Brunches and Ladies Teas
- Craft Sales
- Chili Dinner Fundraiser
- Holiday Plays and Concerts
